Motorola A1200

The Motorola A1200 Ming is a sleek looking Linux-based smartphone. Features on this GSM handset include document reader, handwriting recognition, MP3 player, external speakers, polyphonic sound, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, an FM radio, a 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom and macro mode, video recording and playback, and a MicroSD card expansion slot.
This phone was created for both business and pleasure.

Motorola A1200 Screen
The Motorola Ming comes with a vivid 2.4-inch 256k color touch-screen capable of displaying 240×320 pixels.
When the flip is closed, you can see the screen through the flip and operate the phone using the side buttons.
Motorola Ming Operating System
The Motorola A1200 runs on Montavista Linux. This enables developers to develop third-party applications and games to be used on the phone.
Network Capability
The phone is quad band phone and supports the bands GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and GPRS Class 10. It has been reported that with the proper firmware and patches, it can support the EDGE network. Connectivity through Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support is also available.
Camera
The Motorola A1200 has a 2.0 megapixel camera that snaps photos at 1600×1200 with support for up to 8.0x digital zoom and a useful macro mode.
